Yes.  When you hire Marty Miz Events,  you're hiring me.  You'll plan your wedding with me, and I'll personally DJ and MC your wedding day.

If a true emergency ever prevented me from being there, I have relationships with other professional DJs in the area.  I've been that emergency backup for other companies myself, and I have those same connections if I ever needed them.

My wedding DJ/MC packages start at $2,200 for 5 hours and $2,500 when ceremony coverage and a 6th hour are included. My Best Day Ever Package is $3,000 for 5 hours, or $3,300 with ceremony coverage and 6 hours. You can see everything that's included on my Pricing page.

Yes. I’m your DJ and MC, but I’m also paying attention to how the entire night is going. I read the room, check in with you and your vendors, look for opportunities, and adjust when needed so everything feels natural and you can enjoy your wedding.

That’s the goal. I read the room and mix your must-plays with today’s music, throwbacks, classics, and creative mixes that bring generations together. I’m constantly paying attention to what’s working and adjusting in real time to keep people dancing.

I’ve worked at most, if not all, of the top local venues and happily coordinate with your team. If it’s a new location, I scout setups or connect with the venue so nothing’s left to chance. Which venue are you celebrating at?

Yes, it’s a service I offer. Full‑room wireless uplighting and dance floor lighting are available. It makes the room feel like a celebration and looks great in photos. Would you like me to include uplighting in your options?

Absolutely. I coordinate set lists, transitions, and band breaks so it feels like one seamless party. I can integrate with their system when appropriate and bring my own controller/backup. Will you be having a band as well as a DJ?

Yes, fully insured, and I always bring backup equipment. Do you need me to send a COI to your venue?

We’ll plan it together. I have an online planning tool where you can share your must-plays, do-not-plays, special songs, and the music you love. We’ll also talk about the overall vibe you want and what’s most important to you.

From there, I'll read the room and I’ll mix your favorites with today’s music, throwbacks, classics, and whatever is working in the moment to bring generations together and keep the dance floor moving.

Yes. Separate, discreet setup with microphones and music so every word is heard clearly. Would you like me to add ceremony audio to your quote?

Most couples book 5–6 hours for reception. We can add ceremony/cocktail hour, and I always check with you before overtime. How many hours are you considering for your reception?

Quick chat to learn your vision, a proposal with clear pricing, and a retainer to reserve the date. Then we plan the timeline, names, and moments together. Would you like me to check availability and send a proposal?

If you’d like me to, yes. I filter requests to match your vibe and avoid anything on your do not play list. Do you want to allow guest requests, or keep it to your list?

Yes. I love blending styles from classic Boston crowd pleasers to cultural sets and specialty genres. Tell me what will make it feel like “you.” Which genres or cultural moments are most important to include?

My general service area is Greater Boston, and especially the North Shore because there are some unbelievable wedding venues here, but I do travel throughout Greater Boston and beyond. I’ve traveled as far as Aruba for a destination wedding.

I care about your entire experience, not just the music. I take the time to understand what’s most important to you, talk about what’s possible, and then look for opportunities throughout your wedding to make it even better.

I read the room, check in to make sure everything is going well, and adjust when something changes. And when it comes to the music, I stay current, mix across generations, and bring the right energy at the right time.
