Hey there... I want to share something that reminded me how powerful the right connection can be.

A few weeks ago I introduced two people I know, Les and Adam. One had an idea, the other had the expertise. I wasn’t sure what would happen next, but I knew they should connect. And now they’re already exploring ways to work together.

That moment reminded me how much I love saying, “I know someone who might be able to help.” The truth is, I’ve had this idea for almost 20 years and I’m finally doing something with it.

Over the past 20+ years of owning businesses, volunteering, and working across different industries, I’ve built a network of really good people: business owners, operators, tradespeople, creatives, recruiters, investors, and people who simply care about helping others. And I want to use those connections more intentionally.

Recently, I learned about a childhood friend’s son who suffered a life-changing accident and is now paralyzed from the waist down. I immediately reached out to a former bike shop client, Tom, who runs a foundation focused on creating impact for people living with paralysis. In a moment of real need, that connection mattered and Tom was more than willing to help.

Sometimes one introduction, at the right moment, can change the trajectory of a life or a business. So I’m starting something called MizConnex, powered by the 2 Degrees of Marty Miz. No blast emails. No automation. No random intros.
