My Experience at Salem Country Club
Salem Country Club has a really nice setup for weddings. The ceremony can be held outside overlooking the golf course, and because the course itself is so well kept, the surroundings make for a great backdrop.
Inside, the reception room feels connected rather than spread out. There’s plenty of room on the dance floor, and I’m set up right at the edge of it, across from the bar, which keeps everything close to the action once dancing starts.
From a DJ and MC standpoint, it’s also an easy load-in, and uplighting looks especially good in the room. The layout helps the reception feel cohesive because the bar, dance floor and guests all stay connected instead of feeling like separate areas.
