My Experience at Connemara House Farm
Connemara House Farm has a really open, relaxed feel to it. You have the house, the orchard, the fields and the tent, and the whole property feels much more like a private estate than a traditional wedding venue.
I’ve seen the ceremony set up in different parts of the property, including near the trees and orchard, before guests move into cocktail hour outside and then into the tent for the reception. The venue is built around that outdoor flow, with the Sperry tent, lawns, orchard and gardens all connected together.
The tent itself works really well for dinner and dancing because the dance floor is right there with everyone. From a DJ and MC standpoint, that makes it easy to keep the room connected once the formalities are over and the party starts.
It’s one of those venues that feels very New England without feeling overly polished or formal.
