My Experience at Beauport Hotel Gloucester

The Beauport Hotel is just a beautiful oceanfront setting. You’re right on Gloucester Harbor, and the water is a big part of the experience from the moment guests arrive.

One of the things I like about Beauport is that so much of the wedding can happen right there. The ceremony and cocktail hour can both take advantage of the outdoor space and ocean views, and then everyone can move inside for dinner and dancing. The ballroom is a really nice size — big enough to feel like a celebration, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

From my perspective as the DJ and MC, it’s a comfortable room to work because everything you need for the reception is right there. The bar is close, the dance floor feels connected to the room, and guests don’t feel separated once the party gets going.

And because it’s a hotel, people can stay right on-site. Beauport has 94 guest rooms, which makes it especially convenient for couples with guests coming in from out of town or anyone who wants the wedding to feel more like a full weekend instead of just one night.
