My Experience at Misselwood
Misselwood is just a beautiful setting. The mansion, the grounds and the ocean views all come together in a way that feels really special without needing much added to it.
The ceremony is typically held out on the lawn overlooking the water, with the rocky coastline right behind you. From there, the day flows naturally across the property into cocktail hour and then into the large tent for the reception.
I like that even when you move into the tent, you still feel connected to the grounds and the ocean. I’m typically set up adjacent to the dance floor, which keeps me close to the action and makes it easy to reach the room once dancing starts.
There’s also plenty of parking through Endicott College, which makes arrival pretty easy for guests. It’s one of those venues where the setting really does a lot of the work on its own.
